We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner for a 1 year fixed-term contract. This varied role comprises a mix of operational, strategic and project work.
You will have relevant experience at HR Business Partner level, be of graduate calibre and CIPD qualified or equivalent. A background within a legal or professional services environment is highly desirable.
Working as part of a team, this role requires you to quickly develop a strong commercial understanding of the practice areas for which you are responsible and you must be able to provide a full generalist service to the business including employee relations, performance and absence management and recruitment and selection.
This is a challenging yet rewarding position which requires you to be able to manage multiple tasks, apply strong problem solving skills and adopt a client-focussed, commercial approach. Strong stakeholder management, change management and influencing skills are essential for this role. The successful candidate should be a confident self-starter and be able to manage their business areas with minimal supervision. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience of operating and influencing at a senior level.
You will be based in our Glasgow office, however, as you will support all 4 offices (Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and London) travel to other offices, including occasional overnight stays will be required.
